Recap

The Nights That Built Us

Born from living-room raves, Neon Reverie has been building a movement in Western Connecticut.

Fall 2025
Neon Nightmare and Beyond

Building on the success of the Wednesday Open Decks series, Neon Reverie launched its first large-scale production: Neon Nightmare at La Noche. This Halloween-inspired event brought together a diverse lineup of talent from across Connecticut, including Atrilleez, DJ Nihilist, Papa Runks (founder of Connecticut Live), and Kreesay (founder of Fctry).

Headlined by Brooklyn-based artist Aezon, the event embodied Neon Reverie’s mission to uplift women, queer, and underrepresented voices within the EDM community.

Surrounding the music: local vendors like Bond & Glow permanent jewelry and A2Z Creations, a harm reduction presence from Apex, and a costume contest with prizes in partnership with FS8 Pilates, and a food table kept our guests fueled for feraltivities, reflecting our commitment to festival-level hospitality and care for the community we serve.

Neon Reverie continues to expand its vision with collaborations like a Rave Pilates class at FS8, weaving wellness into the culture we’re building.

Summer 2025
Neon Reverie Expands to Diamond Club

As Neon Reverie gained momentum, DLUZN’s performance at Stage 6 opened doors to new partnerships with local venue owners and promoters. From there, Wednesday night open decks at Diamond Club was born, offering a consistent platform for DJs to build experience, network, and play.

The expansion introduced new community-building elements, including a freebie and info table, harm reduction supported by Apex, a summer block party with Art Club Tattoo Studio, and the incorporation of flow arts into the event experience. These additions strengthened Neon Reverie’s mission to create safe, creative, and inclusive spaces for expression.

Fall 2024
Neon Reverie House Parties

How it all started

The Neon Reverie House Parties began as intimate gatherings in Ellie's (DLUZN) one-bedroom apartment in Danbury, born from a desire to practice DJing among friends.

Ellie, their friend Koob, Ellie's husband Dr. Aaron Crossman, and their cuddly little mascots, Wubz and Something, started throwing unforgettable nights featuring over a dozen EDM artists from Connecticut and New England. The open decks concept first emerged here, when Niles (DJ Nihilist) came to the first event and surprised us with a set. Niles joining the team led to massive growth for the collective.

These events became the foundation of the Neon Reverie community—showcasing local talent, inspiring connection, and proving that Danbury was ready for a revival of its electronic music scene.
